Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Inventory Material Control Support 4 to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cycle count materials based on the “ABC (cost grouping)” grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Manager.
- Counting physical inventory routinely, warehouse and floor locations.
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
- Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
- Monitor and maintain Cycle Counter reporting tools and reports.
- Assist all Storeroom and Production Control personnel with locating missing materials.
- Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
- Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience and/or education.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with inventory resolution.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing different job functions in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with ERP system.
- Experience in Excel.
- Associate Degree.
- Active Secret Clearance.
