Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Inventory Material Control Support 4 to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Cycle count materials based on the “ABC (cost grouping)” grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Manager.
  • Counting physical inventory routinely, warehouse and floor locations.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
  • Monitor and maintain Cycle Counter reporting tools and reports.
  • Assist all Storeroom and Production Control personnel with locating missing materials.
  • Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
  • Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience and/or education.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with inventory resolution.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing different job functions in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with ERP system.
  • Experience in Excel.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $49,900 - $83,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
