Northrop Grumman is hiring an Inventory Material Control Support 3 to support our Tactical Space Systems Division to be located in Gilbert, AZ. The Inventory Material Control Support 3 compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Cycle count administrator
Investigate discrepancies prior to making inventory adjustments.
Performs transactions in the material management system to reflect the movements of material.
Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, and racks by hand.
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Collaborate with team members when a task requires.
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen and have a High School diploma with at least 4 years' experience.
Candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Must have experience in cycle counting.
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to Lift up to 25 lbs. by hand.
Able to work overtime.
Organize tasks and time to ensure the timely completion of all projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task.
Must have experience in cycle counting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with logistics/warehouse.
Experience in computers and computer processes.
Experience working in the aerospace industry.
Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Deltek Costpoint
Experience using Cognos Analytics software.
Experience in ABC analysis cycle count method.
