1. Job Summary:
· Manage material requirements for day-to-day Production and Inventory needs.
· Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves any inventory discrepancies within the Rocky Mountain district.
· Works closely with Regional OPS Coordinators and R&M Supervisor to ensure Inventory demands and deliveries are properly planned, communicated, and met in a timely manner.
· Liaise with key vendors to ensure timely order and delivery of inventory.
· Liaise with US Asset & Inventory Manager, Rockies R&M management, QA/QC technician and motor technician to ensure the accuracy of inventory consumption.
· Work as system administrator for Oasis as it pertains to inventory, MRP and other related functions.
· Coordinate shipments to and from Vendors / Suppliers in an efficient, cost effective and reliable manner.
· Assist with loading and unloading of trucks picking up / delivering DH Motors, BHA Components, MWD Components and Spare Parts.
· Properly maintain and organize yard and indoor storage areas with focus on product protection, segregation and marking.
· Ensure compliance with all Logistics Related Requirements (for example DOT); as well as all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) and Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures (HSSE, R&M, Quality, HR).
· Assist in developing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory controls in OASIS. and QuickBooks including purchasing, new orders, and Min / Max levels.
· Procure Inventory components based on Operations and R&M requirements.
· Liaise with suppliers to verify, track, and ensure timely delivery of inventory.
· Implementation and maintenance of inventory control measures, including cycle counts for verification.
· Reconcile monthly inventory cycle count with Finance, R&M and Operations.
· Conduct monthly open order reviews with R&M and Operations.
· Manage Slow Moving & Obsolete (SLOB) inventory with Finance, R&M and Operations.
· Assist in organizing and staging equipment to ship to jobs and vendors.
· Unload and load equipment from / to racks and trucks.
· Safely operate Forklifts, Overhead Cranes and Jib Cranes.
· Maintain and inventory parts and shop supplies as needed.
· Document and track all equipment, products, and components incoming and outgoing.
· Ability to identify components of Mud Motors, MWD equipment and spare parts.
· Efficiently use Microsoft Office Programs as well as Internal Programs, for example OASIS.
· Maintain a safe and organized work area.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· Extensive hours of standing, and operating equipment.
· Manual effort and performance of repetitive tasks.
· Maintain an on-call status with staff. Available to be on-call after hours, weekends, holidays.
3. Education/Experience Requirements:
· At least 5 years of experience in a related area required.
· Previous industry-related experience considered an asset.
4. Skills/Qualifications:
· Proficient in MS Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
