Location: Unclaimed Baggage: Retail
Position: Inventory Distribution Team Member- Second Shift
Level: 3
Basic Function: This position requires a smile, positive, friendly presence while stocking the retail floor space in a fast, efficient, accurate manner. Make every effort to ensure that each guest that you meet is having an exceptional shopping experience and if they aren't, understand what you can do to help the situation. Being in stock is an important aspect of the guest experience.
General Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with location of merchandise throughout the store
- Stock all merchandise in the appropriate location quickly and accurately. Maintain all back-stock areas: sort appropriately and use first in/first out system
- Color Tag/Color Dot the needed categories within each department; follow color tag chart
- Scan production output using IDT laptop when merchandise is taken up to the sales floor to be stocked
- Maintain fixture areas and empty z-rack, rolling rack and utility cart space
- Assist the retail sales floor team with markdown and floor moves as needed
- Report suspicious activity or shoplifting to Asset Protection, Manager, or Assistant Manager.
- All other tasks assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Light to moderate lifting is required for most areas; few areas will require heavy lifting at times
- Repetitive motion is also required
Schedule Hours:
- This is a second shift position. A typical schedule for this role is Monday- Friday; 1:00 pm-9:30 pm.
- Occasional Saturday work may be required for major retail sales events (example: Ski Sale)
- All major holidays are a requirement (excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
Reporting Relationships: Reports directly to Second Shift Inventory Distribution Team Supervisor
