Main Responsibilities

• Adhere to work schedule and be able to report to work on time and work throughout the assigned schedule and shift.
• Record and track inventory levels, including receiving and issuance of inventory
• Coordinating shipping, receiving, and distribution processes
• Ensure the quality of goods stored and shipped
• Prepare relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively
• Research and resolve count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process
• Develop and enhance warehouse procedures
• Ensure the security of the warehouse premises
• Move materials with a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Maintain computerized inventory records, take physical inventory counts periodically, and check against inventory control totals using a computer.
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing preferred
• Forklift certifications are a plus
• Complete required safety training, safely perform tasks, and follow safety policies.
• Wear specified personal protective equipment, which may include steel/composite toe work boots, safety glasses, etc., as required.
• Must be able to work at a sustained pace, follow packaging instructions to produce quality work, and produce sufficient quantity or work as determined by the production schedule
• Keep the work area organized.

Physical Demands:

• Lift or carry up to 50 pounds, frequently
• Push or pull up to 100 pounds frequently
• Stand, walk, handle, reach outward and above shoulder, and squat occasionally

Working environment

• Industrial environment, with occasional exposure to the outdoors
• Work near moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• May handle containers of caustic or acidic chemicals after appropriate training and with appropriate PPE
• Moderate noise level from forklifts and other equipment
