Inventory Control Cycle Counter

Our rapidly growing third party logistics company (3PL) seeks an Inventory Control Clerk II for our Ontario, CA location.

Summary of the Job: A successful DCL Cycle Counter is passionate about monitoring the warehouse inventory and performing daily system cycle count batches per clients SLA. The Cycle Counter will surveillance the cycle count items based on “ABC” CATEGORIES. The Cycle Counter will maintain the inventory accuracy with super amazing process adherence with counting, processing of material system reporting, system transfers and performing W2W “FULL WAREHOUSE SEARCH” for missing items. The Cycle Counter will assist OPS and Clients in locating materials and audits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform W2W search for missing materials.
• Able to accurately count, identify and verify skus at the master carton, inner and single unit level.
• Ability to use and navigate in a PC and touchscreen tablet computer to update cycle count results.
• Responsible for completing daily system generated cycle count batches.
• Assists Operations in locating missing materials.
• Able to update cycle count reporting results in two forms, paper port and systematically.
• Physical Year End Inventory counting and tagging per client and work scope.
• Follow safety policy and regulations.
• Able to research overages or missing materials by using system transaction history.
• Able to analyze root cause for overages and missing materials.
• Able to understand data and reconcile variances.
• Assure compliance to ISO 9000 standards and adhere to the DCL Code of Conduct.
• Boots on the Ground. Not afraid to get the job done by un-palletizing and repalletizing materials.
• Ability to export data to Excel.
• Able to work weekends, Holiday, and Overtime.
• Must be able to follow procedures, instructions, and Best In Class practices.
• Love to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to adapt to other tasks assigned by Leadership.
• Always maintain a clean, and organized work environment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate material transfers
• Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Ability to move 75+ pounds.
• Ability to do repetitive hand motions with good manual dexterity
• Work with computers for a majority of the day (looking into the screen and performing data entry/computer keyboarding). Therefore, must be able to stand for a long period of time.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ year experience (3 years preferred).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; good numerical checking and editing skills.
• Good communications (both verbal & written).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

• Reach truck: 2 years (Required)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
