This rolewill coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and Inventory Team for the overall inventory needs. To work in Inventory Control and cycle counting within the warehouse as well. Both administrative and warehouse activities supporting Inventory and our Quality depts will have a big impact on our first shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE SHIPPING-RECEIVING AND INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR INCLUDE:

• Be a TEAM Player, working cooperatively with customers, suppliers, drivers, co-workers and the key depts to meet our daily service demands.
• WMS transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Initiate, implement and maximize strong customer service and inventory management practices, following our Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain and support the highest Cold-Link customer service levels, handling customer requests and concerns in a timely, accurate and professional manner
• Utilize our Warehouse Management Systems and other office computer software and equipment as needed to support daily operations
• Working safely and efficiently, making the best use of your time on the job
• Other duties as directed by Cold-Link Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE OF THE SHIPPING-RECEIVING COORDINATOR INCLUDE

• Education: Minimum High School diploma
• 2+ years in customer service, experience in Shipping-Receiving preferred
• Proficient in office technical and communications systems, equipment and MS Office applications. Warehouse Management Systems experience a plus
• Ability to accurately perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as required for daily warehousing tasks.
• Willingness to follow and support all safety policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate verbally, including speaking effectively and professionally with individuals in person and on phone
• Effectively communicate in writing, including concepts and information required for daily business activities. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write routine business correspondence.
• Ability to solve problems, plan and prioritize tasks
• Various forklift and scissor lift equipment experience as needed for inventory requirements within the warehouse.

JOB TYPE

Full Time w/ overtime as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office and Warehouse Setting in a Cold- Storage & Logistics Environment

SCHEDULES

First shift work schedule 7am- 3:30pm with Overtime as required or as necessary to meet our customer's expectations.

TRAVEL

No travel requirements.

PAY

$21.00 per hour
