Objectives of the Position

This position is responsible for the adjustments of all inventory types. This includes all finish goods and raw adjustments as well as most of the adjustments in wip. This person must be able to research and analyze the results of cycle so that root cause can be identified. Other duties for this position are as follow. Coordinator gives daily feedback to the supervisors pertaining to data integrity status as well as suggestions for improvement.


This position will be located at our Aftermarket warehouse location in Charlotte, NC. This is a 1st Shift position.

Primary Duties:

  • Reconcile failed goods movements for the entire plant on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile negative inventory quantities for the entire plant on a daily basis.
  • Direct cycle count team daily as well as others in the warehouse and in the manufacturing plant.
  • Assist in implementing improvements as directed by the Manager or Scheduler.
  • Do the daily adjustments from all cycle counts.
  • Prepare cycle count charts using trend analysis.
  • Help lead annual physical inventory.
  • Work with plant data integrity people on a daily basis.
  • Proficient in all areas of PC usage including strong excel and PowerPoint
  • Assist in continuous associate education concerning first in, first out (FIFO) criteria – Warehouse
  • Gather work order data and report findings to the Scheduler. This will be used to adjust

the shortage report.

  • Report any discrepancies through E-mail daily and adjust in SAP accordingly.

· Assist in periodic inventories as scheduled by Logistics or by department Manager or

Supervisor.

Primary Duties (Continued)

  • Create Excel or Word documents reflecting data integrity status as requested.
  • Attend shift meetings as requested with Supervisor, Manager or Scheduler to communicate items of concern.
  • Work closely with the Final Supervisor, Manager and Scheduler to share valued information pertaining to data integrity.
  • Report any TLN numbers identified as “on hold” or “potential scrap” to the Final Assembly Scheduler.
  • Report any work order situations pertaining to possible under delivery or over delivery of parts.
  • This position will be responsible for the direction of all cycle count activities and the reconciling of all inventory’s adjustments.
  • Tracking all inventory transactions and keeping clear records for such transaction.
  • Compiling accurate inventory charts and doing root cause analysis so that corrections can be made.
  • This person must have good communication skills and be able to work in all departments in the plant.
  • This position will entail both office works as well as work in other areas of the plant.

Secondary Duties

  • This person will be responsible for all cycle count activities and play a major role in the annual physical inventory.
  • This position is also responsible for the corrections of all failed goods movements and negative inventory corrections on a daily basis.

· Must have strong desire to maintain accurate inventory data.

Education, Training, Certifications

· High school diploma or GED. Vocational training and certifications preferred.

Experience

  • A two-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active certification of sit down and stand up lifts within the Stabilus® facility.
  • Must have very strong math skills and communications skills and hold forklift certification.
  • Understanding and capable of using the following SAP functions: MB51 / MB1A / MD04 / MMBE / SA38 / ZPIA / ZPAC / ZBDE / ZPTX / ZLAF / ZUS201 / ZUS202.
  • Create Excel and Word documents pertaining to data integrity subjects along with charts and graphs.

Job Knowledge and Skills

· Must be able to lead a cycle count team as well as others.

· This person must have a strong desire to achieve and maintain accurate inventory records as well as the desire to train and instruct others.

· Must have a strong desire to identify all errors so that accurate inventory records are kept.

Accountability / Impact of Errors

  • Abiding and practicing safety rules during the operation of any material handling equipment in and around work areas at all times.
  • Must be certified if using material handling equipment per the certification program.

Working Conditions

  • Walking, reaching, bending, pushing, sitting and lifting are required with frequent movement.
  • Repetitive motion and using fine motor skills.
  • Transporting parts to and from the work area using supplied carts, material handling devices, Powered equipment such as fork lifts and hand jacks.
  • Transferring of parts from one skid to another.
  • Some heavy lifting is required
  • Exposed to normal manufacturing environment. Follow established safety procedures prevent likelihood of injury or accidents.
  • Maintain and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, etc.
  • Report any safety concerns to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • This job will be plant wide, which includes office and manufacturing floor area. Some weekend work will be required. It can and will be a dusty and dirty job from time to time.
