Summary:

Powin is actively recruiting for an Inventory Analyst for our Global Inventory. In this position, you will have the opportunity to play a key role building out and maintaining our Inventory Control systems. This is a hands-on position, responsible for Inventory Control, coordinating inventory counts throughout the company, and transactional material management to support operations in accurate administration of working capital. The Inventory Control Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Operations are meeting delivery targets with accurate inventory performance. This position will also focus on resolving inventory accuracy issues and root cause reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.

Job Details:

  • Coordinate and lead the Yearly Physical Inventory process in conjunction with Finance & Accounting and other internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
  • Investigate and resolve inventory accuracy issues and root cause reconciliation of inventory discrepancies
  • Oversee Inventory Control/management functions, which may include cycle counting, issuing of materials, and inventory adjustments
  • Maintain reporting and trends of Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), through cycle counts, book-to-book audits, or full wall-to-wall physical inspections
  • Update inventory database and ensure the correct location by conducting audits of cycle count or audits by location
  • Add / delete / change material to inventory locations
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Work with the Sales, Inventory and Operations (SIOP) Team on disposition of material resulting from obsolescence or Engineering change
  • Perform daily safety walks of the Warehouse. Recommend repairs and maintenance of systems and equipment to Operations Manager as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in business analytics, statistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service/internal sales function
  • 1+ years of Supply Chain experience.
  • General knowledge and experience working with and around electronics parts, hand tools, and lift equipment
  • Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in writing
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and immediately apply it towards process or job performance improvement
  • Experience working with warehouse inventory management systems (both physical and software based)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy of systems under your ownership
  • Proficient in using and communicating through basic office software programs including MS Office Suite, MS Teams, Slack
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support international teams
  • Proven ability to achieve high-level results through continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable working in entrepreneurial and ambiguous environments outside of a fully implemented ERP/MRP system
  • Driven, self-motivated and result oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and pivot focus quickly when necessary
  • Strong customer and client service skills
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel to sites in the US to preform counts up to 25%
