General Summary
The Inventory and Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for various activities to ensure accuracy and Quality of the finished goods inventory at our Liverpool, NY facility. An employee working in this area is expected to operate as a member of a team, which includes assisting one another as needed. In the absence of the Inventory and Quality Control Specialist an employee cross trained in that skill and that understands the food safety job requirements will perform this job function.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Controls inventory accuracy of finished goods and packaging materials by participating in physical inventories and maintaining/documenting inventory records; verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and helps adjust errors.
- Receive and verify accuracy of inbound shipments.
- Maintain organization of the warehouse and stock.
- Assist warehouse department with projects as needed.
- Run cycle count reports; Follows up with the Department Managers as necessary to review discrepancies on the cycle count reviews and inventories. Prepares and issues cycle count projections and adjustments to the Management Team
- Monitor and adjust stock levels on an ongoing basis to maintain proper levels of inventory
- Compile and document all inventory transactions for data entry.
- Operates lift trucks, forklifts, scissor lift and motorized pallet jacks while observing standard lift truck operation and safety rules
- Maintain housekeeping, GMP's, and safety within the facility.
- Responsible to check, complete and /or sign all appropriate paperwork and documentation.
- Serve as back up for repack lead as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
