JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Control Analyst will develop and implement plans to optimize inventory cost and production goals. He/she will be responsible for forecasting needs, analyzing movement patterns, product deployment, and resolving accuracy discrepancies.
Specific duties include:
Creates / Maintains / Reinforces policies and procedures surrounding inventory control
Reviews and approves inventory adjustments as a result of variances to physical counts compared to the perpetual inventory records.
Determines the “root cause” and resolution of these inventory variances.
Provides monthly reporting to measure inventory turns, inactive inventory, adjustments and other relevant metrics.
Coordinates physical inventory process and cycle counts.
Monitors inventory flow through the system.
Establishes a Min/Max stocking levels.
Ensures dynamic deployment and other automated inventory management systems are working adequately.
Work closely with managers to establish optimal order quantities, inventory targets, and turnover objectives.
Create, install, and/or monitor inventory management system
