Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa Subsidiary, is currently hiring for an Inventory Analyst to join our team in Gadsden, AL. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for the shipping & receiving, working to achieve plant goals while maintaining a high standard for safety, quality, and productivity.

What You’ll Do:
- Receive all incoming purchased stock hardware (includes tubing and angle) into JEE and place into proper location, documenting during the process then forwarding to appropriate party for payment
- Coordinate cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciliation of plate and non-plate items
- Validate Bill of Materials to Drawing(s) for ship loose packing accuracy
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and other documentation
- Accountable for inventory control & management in the bolt house and structural yard locations
- Verify pictures quantities and items to ensure correct packaging in bolt house
- Perform daily issues, pull and pack bolt shipments, logging issues into JEE on a regular basis
- Accountable for calculating the quantity for structural pulls and communicating with yard crew
- Perform weekly cycle counts as directed by the materials manager in accordance with cycle count procedures for stock items “b”, report results to the materials manager by the last day of each week
- Communicate with other departments for material pulls
- Coordinate with scrap vendor on pick-ups
- Coordinate with other plants on transfers (non-plate)
- Perform annual physical inventory of “b” items as directed by the materials manager
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stock room
What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using JEE is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Ability to maintain good attendance and safety record
