A facility in Rochester, NY is looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience
• Philips or Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Has worked in a Hospital setting
• NY State DOH Rad Tech License
• ARRT Certification
• Vascular Interventional (VI) Certification preferred
• Epic/Care Connect experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:

Start date : 04/01/2024

13-week contract

40 hrs/week

• 4 X 10hr Shifts (Day Off Can't be Monday or Friday) | 7:30am - 6:00pm
• On-call responsibilities as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assignments are routine; follows established protocols. Works under close supervision, seeks guidance where needed; requires some instruction on day-to-day work and resolves routine problems.
• Documents care / teaching consistent with documentation guidelines.
• Maintains a clean work environment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department/unit personnel.
• Engages in impacting professional, positive and productive physician relationships.
• Prepares and assists in the administration of contrast agents by monitoring dosage and determining any potential allergies and ensuring compliance with department policy and procedure.
• Maintains patient information within picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and in other computerized medical records systems to ensure accurate patient records.
• Participates in on-going process improvement activities related to patient and customer satisfaction.
