Job Description
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
- Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during procedures
- Collaborate with the Interventional Radiology team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients and their families about the procedure and post-procedure care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
-Level 3, Bed size 0-49
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Interventional Radiology setting
- Proficient in performing esthetic laser treatments, mammography, gastric lavage, ophthalmology procedures, DME (Durable Medical Equipment) care, and coding
- Skilled in basic life support techniques and venipuncture
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred
-Must have certifications- BLS/BCLS/ACLS/Nurse Certification (NIHSS)
-Must pass background/drug test
