The Leadership Excellence Achievement Program (LEAP) encompasses LPL's early talent initiatives by offering a 10-week, paid, summer internship and full-time entry level programs to promote the next generation of leaders. The program offers internships to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students.

The Business Line Strategy team is seeking a summer intern for 2024. At LPL, the Business Strategy and Growth department partners with financial institutions to consult, support, scale, and grow their Wealth Management business. This position would like the ideal candidate to be local to the Fort Mill functioning off a hybrid schedule at the intern and managers disrection.
What You'll Do

  • Conduct industry research and analyze relevant findings and data.
  • Organize and support planning for virtual and in person training and implementation of high impact project (we mean Actifi/SPA rollout and follow up).
  • Design and build consulting content for Bank and Credit Union leadership team with guidance from the strategy team.
  • Leverage relevant software to support research, organize, and translate data for leadership consumption (excel, powerpoint, etc).
  • Manage a capstone project supporting Institution Services over the course of the 10 week internship, with presentation to executive leadership upon completion.
  • Support project management needs of internal consulting team.
  • Build and maintain internal stakeholder decks for ongoing project work.

What You'll Bring
  • A self starter mindset with collobration and time management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Relevant experience or strong interest in the financial services and wealth management industry

What is the summer internship schedule?
  • Full- time program for 10 weeks in the summer of 2024; Monday through Friday during day-shift for 40 hours a week
  • Semester system dates: 6/3/24 - 8/9/24
  • Quarter system dates: 6/17/24 - 8/23/24

Hourly Rate:
$22-25 per hour
The hourly amount is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work location.
