Internship - Marketing Intern

Wall Colmonoy located in Madison Heights, MI specializes in advanced materials and surface engineering solutions. We offer thermal spray coatings, brazing products, engineered components, and materials for various industries including aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing. Our focus is on improving performance, durability, and efficiency of components and systems.

Essential Responsibilities

• Online Presence and Social Media:
  • Contribute to the organization's online presence by drafting and posting content as requested on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and our website.
  • Create / edit imagery to use across social media, website, and e-campaigns.
  • Monitor engagement metrics to provide insights for improvement.
• Mailing List Management (HubSpot):
  • Source new and updated contacts.
  • Update contact properties as needed.
  • Create contact lists based on segments such as business unit, industry, etc.
• Promotional Items:
  • Review inventory of existing promotional items. Work with Global Marketing Manager to determine if reorder needs to be placed.
  • Keep promotional closet organized and tidy.
  • Source, quote, and recommend new promotional items when needed.
• Printed Collateral / Literature Management:
  • Review inventory of printed materials. Work with vendor to place reorders when necessary.
• Promo Item and Literature Fulfillment:
  • Organize and fulfill literature and promotional item requests efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • As required, create Tech Data Book binders and/or equipment manuals by printing/compiling literature.
• Literature Updates:
  • Keep various platforms such as the extranet and tech-data books updated with the latest literature files, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Assist Global Marketing Manager with various projects as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communication or equivalent
• Experience in CRM or customer database software such as HubSpot and/or Salesforce
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail, highly motivated
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player – works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
• Work across time zones, multiple departments including sales, technology, accounting, and operations as well as with vendors
