International Tax Senior

We're looking for an International Tax Senior to join us in Denver.
Job purpose
Become a key contributing member of the Liberty Global Tax Department headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The primary focus areas are assisting in the preparation and review of US domestic and international income tax returns with exposure to tax provision processes and strategy projects.
Key Accountabilities
* Prepare and assist in the review of the US International Tax Return Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 5472 and 1120-F and supporting workpapers, disclosures and statements (tax filings are overwhelmingly international)
* Assist in the preparation of the US Domestic Tax Return Forms 1120, 1065 and supporting workpapers, disclosures and statements
* Prepare workpapers and calculate tax adjustments for U.S. International tax filings with emphasis on depreciation, amortization, financial products, debt instruments, methods of accounting, and transaction impacts
* Gather and analyze foreign and domestic entity information
* Review filings required for foreign bank account reporting
* Assist in preparation of quarterly provision and E&P projections measuring US tax impact of foreign operations (Sub F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, etc.)
* Assist with improving tax compliance processes and increased use of software tools with a view toward improving efficiencies, effectiveness and controls across routine and ad hoc activities
* Assist with FATCA process, EIN maintenance and analysis of entities as well as completion of W-8s/W-9s and self-certifications
* Prepare and assist in the review of computations associated with the foreign tax credit and Form 1118
* Assist in both compliance and tax planning aspects of special projects as needed; including, but not limited to, projections, basis and gain/loss measurement, transaction review, preparation of presentations and meeting materials
* Teach and develop shared service center staff with respect to tax processes and procedures, excel and software utilization, basic tax concepts, and forms preparation
* Supervise outside contractors as needed
The successful candidate will have the following:
* BA/BS in Accounting
* CPA preferred
* Corporate tax experience in either public accounting or industry.
* Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Must be thorough and detail oriented
* Must understand basic SOX framework and control concepts
* Ability to independently coordinate resources and complete assigned projects with supervision
* Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and carry out tasks with a sense of urgency
* Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects on a timely basis
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary, equity, bonus & benefits. The base salary range is $80,000.00-$100,000.00, based on experience.
