Job Summary:
The International Tax Manager will play a crucial role in US-International tax team and will work closely with cross-functional teams, external advisors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with global tax laws and regulations while optimizing the company's International Tax position. Role will be based in San Francisco Bay Area.
Primary Responsibilities:
Research relevant International Tax matters, new proposed and final regulations, tax law updates, and provide detailed technical guidance on complex International Tax compliance, reporting, and planning. Stay abreast of changes in International Tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and provide strategic guidance on International Tax planning initiatives. Collaborate with business and other corporate partners to develop and implement tax-efficient acquisition structuring and post-acquisition integration step plans to optimize SFDC's overall tax position Assist in technical analysis of all US international calculations, including but not limited to GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, 987, FDII, and FTCs. Assist with M&A Tax and International Tax practices on various cross border tax issues such as corporate reorganizations and acquisitions Provide strategic support during tax audits and inquiries, working to resolve sophisticated issues with tax authorities. Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, shifting deadlines and maintain positive hands-on attitude
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of International Tax experience, preferably at a large multinational firm or major public accounting firm (or Big 4)
Strong knowledge of International Tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and ability to digest complex technical topics
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to digest complex technical topics and share across various audiences.
Diligent and thorough with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
CPA and/or MST/JD strongly preferred.
Recommended bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or similar business subject
Proficiency in tax/accounting software programs like Oracle, SAP, HFM, CorpTax, etc

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $140,000 to $192,500.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
