Job Description

We are seeking an experienced International Staffing Consultant who will play a pivotal role in our mission to staff public health professionals overseas. This individual will be responsible for understanding and implementing best practices in International Staffing, with a focus on medical clearance, visa processing, and logistics management within government contracts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition: Identify, source, and recruit qualified public health professionals, including but not limited to doctors, nurses, epidemiologists, and healthcare administrators, for international assignments.
  2. Consultation: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their staffing needs, ensuring a deep understanding of the unique requirements for each overseas assignment.
  3. Medical Clearance: Oversee the medical clearance process for candidates, ensuring that they meet the health and vaccination requirements for international travel and work in healthcare settings.
  4. Visa Processing: Manage the visa application process for candidates, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and successful visa acquisition.
  5. Logistics Coordination: Arrange all logistical aspects of candidates' international assignments, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and on-the-ground support and safety.
  6. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with international labor laws, visa regulations, and healthcare industry standards to ensure all placements are in compliance with local and international regulations.
  7. Candidate Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the assignment, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  8. Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  9. Reporting: Maintain detailed records of candidate placements, visa processing, and medical clearances, providing regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Human Resources, International Relations, Public Health, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in International Staffing and recruitment, particularly in the public health sector.
  • Familiarity with medical clearance processes and global healthcare industry standards.
  • Knowledge of international visa regulations and immigration procedures.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people including government officials, scientific and program staff, and individuals at all levels of management.
  • High levels of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, and inter-personal communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and quality.

Experience working in and with the CDC, USAID, PEPFAR, UNAID, etc. is highly desired
