Essential Functions:
· Assist with the general administration of partnership development, including researching prospective university partners and creating briefs of current and prospective key partners.
· Support outreach activities and events—including the annual Partner Week. Graphic design skills preferred to create visual graphics, flyers, and communication for events.
· Under the direct supervision of the Director, assist with international delegation visits and logistics, which may include ordering food and setting up food/beverages, scheduling meetings, and creating agendas.
· Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and interact thoughtfully with multicultural constituencies.
· Assist with marketing efforts and collecting stories that highlight engagement with international partners at DU.
· Provide administrative/clerical support to the Office of Internationalization, as needed.
· Act as a backup to the front desk, as needed. Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits the Office of Internationalization.
· Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

· Ability to work a minimum of6 and maximum of 10 hours per week including occasional evenings and weekends
· Ability to work for the 2023-2024 academic year (Winter and Spring Quarters)
Preferred Qualifications:
· A strong interest in international/global issues, perspectives, and engagement
· Graphic design experience strongly preferred
· Interest in study abroad
Working Environment
· Standard office environment.
· Unexpected interruptions occur, and stress level is low to moderate.
· Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities
· Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
· Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs
Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible for a federal work-study, which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office. Students will be paid $17.50/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. This position requires 6-10 hours per week for fall, winter, and spring quarters with flexibility in scheduling. Some evening/weekend hours required.
In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
