Job Description

The International Operations Coordinator is the person who supports the Senior Director of International Outreach at Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef. A strong communicator who finds joy spending hours communicating with international communities throughout the world, this person will assist in effectively implementing programs for the ministry, including administrative, research, production, broadcast, and audience follow-up, many of which involve foreign languages and English as a Secondary Language (ESL). In addition to a sincere passion for the mission and vision of Leading The Way, the right person for this role will possess a love for detail, the ability to multitask, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn. 

 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Implement quality control process for content received from Leading The Way’s (LTW’s) media teams
• Monitor materials from data-transfer servers and work with partners to correct issues related to content
• Prepare Navigator agreements with Trusted Partners and keep detailed records of distribution numbers, regions, and groups
• Load Navigator devices (solar-powered MP3 players) with LTW’s dual-language programming media and ship them to Trusted Partners
• Create and maintain MetaData listing for LTW’s international content and ensure that they match the media library
• Prepare ministry reports as requested by superior
• Handle all aspects related to the international digital platforms, including but not limited to ltwglobal.org, the LTWGlobal app, and social media platforms 
• Review invoices submitted by partners
• Manage international inventory including but not limited to booklets, labels, and Navigators
• Maintain and organize physical records 
• Create and maintain schedules for domestic and international broadcasts 
• Manage volunteers and delegate tasks as needed
• Collect and archive field reports and make them available for partners 
• Research implementations of strategic activities related to the expansion of international outreach
• Arrange for literature translation and printing in foreign languages 
• Ensure that field coordinators submit financial and ministry reports in a timely manner 
• Help locate prospective channels and networks to air LTW’s media content
• Coordinate with technical teams to develop and manage international archival systems such as the server backup and workflow
• Attend occasional conferences and meetings
• Correspond with inquirers and fulfill requests as directed by supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

The right person for this role will have the gift of organization and administration as well as a desire to serve. We are also looking for the following qualifications and experience:

• A mature Christian faith and an evident passion for the ministry of Leading The Way
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent number of years of practical experience
• Ability to speak another language is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with media files and social media
• Strong organizational skills and attentive to detail
• Resourceful and works well under pressure
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with an ability to read the room and engage with people at all experience levels and nationalities
• Strong written and verbal communication 
• Self motivated and a willingness to learn
• Takes initiative and possesses the ability to work independently to achieve ministry goals
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Effective problem-solving ability
• Adapts to change well
• Must subscribe to Leading The Way’sStatement of Faith
