Job Title:  International Inside Sales Representative        Division: PPI

FLSA:  Non-Exempt                                                                  Grade: 1

Job Status: Full-Time                                                               Travel Required:         

Revision Date:  12/20/2023                                                   Reports To: International Inside Sales Manager

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Position is responsible for daily support to the International Sales Team.  Support includes providing accurate pulley and idler quotes, processing pulley and idler orders, answering customer questions via email and phone calls, submit change orders, and prepare service adjustment requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.

 

More specifically, the employee owner will:

  • Possess strong product knowledge.
  • Create customer quotations for PPI products.
  • Process orders as received.
  • Process change orders per customer request.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Ability to work with freight forwarders.
  • Expedite deliveries per customer request.
  • Knowledge of export packaging.
  • Work with manufacturing to communicate order status and part information to the customer.
  • Process service adjustment requests.
  • Support Project Managers with overflow tasks.
  • Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
  • Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
  • Demonstrate regular, consistent attendance.

  • Experience using both (English & Spanish) languages in a professional capacity.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills in both (Spanish & English) specified languages.
  • Highly energetic, great attention to detail, and highly organized
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple accounts.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Motivated by creating relationships with others.
  • Have basic ability to read and understand blueprints and/or order specifications.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems using training, experience, and reasoning skills
  • Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency

 

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

  • High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)

The noise level in the work environment is MODERATE.

Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection when in production areas.
