ThePhysician/Medical Directoris responsible for clinical direction and oversight of Healthcare Providers in various post-acute facilities, providing in-patient holistic medical services utilizing innovative technologies to improve patient access impacting quality outcomes. This role will oversee 3-7 facilities and round Monday-Friday and will not be responsible for any call during the evening, weekend, or holidays.
These medical services include:
- Planning, directing, and evaluating resident/patient care
- Examination and treatment of chronic and acute episodic illnesses; and treatment of minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/illnesses.
- Performs elected laboratory testing, writes prescriptions, and diagnoses and treats medical conditions within the scope of their license expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
