Internal Communications, Event & Culture Specialist

We are working alongside Skogman Companies, the area's largest locally owned real estate company & home builder, to find a passionate and creative Internal Communications, Event & Culture Specialist to join their operations team. You will be a part of the HR/Administrative team and be responsible for Internal Communications as well as focusing on culture building.
The ideal candidate is a positive, creative, people person with experience in event planning and/or marketing background good. This requires being organized and highly proficient with technology to run the communications platform.
This position is a full-time salaried position that is expected to be at the office full-time here downtown at their corporate headquarters with primary responsibilities of creating and maintaining company culture, events and Internal Communications. This position may require some nights and weekend hours depending on the event or function. This position supports all divisions across The Skogman Companies and will report to the Vice-President of Administration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Event planning and office gatherings (Thirsty Thursday, Small agent gatherings that connect new agents and veteran agents, Employee lunches, team outings, finding ways to get agents to come to the office, etc.)
• Family events (Summer, Bass Farms, Holiday Party)
• Summit Dinner Celebration
• Golf Outing
• United Way Campaign
• Celebrating birthdays/anniversaries of agents & employees
• Weekly Agent Spotlight
• Plan and execute monthly 100% Club gathering for agents and Leadership.
• Corridor Corporate Games- June 1-July 31 each year
• Theme weeks in the office for holidays, etc. making the office culture fun and collaborative.
• Social media postings about our people (create the content and calendar of postings and then have Marketing post it)
• Learn and be Staffbase Champion and Owner
• Create ideas on videos of our people (that Marketing can post on social media) or they can post internally
• Gather and highlight what we do in the community.
• Kudos for our people to make them feel special and engaged- weekly, daily, etc.
• Connecting our agents with each other and creating opportunities for collisions in the office
• Connecting employees with each other and making them feel special and valued and engaged.
