ARC is hiring for our Summer 2024 Intern Program! If you are eager to take on a challenging and rewarding Internship with a high-tech company surrounded by awesome professionals, then we want to hear from you. This internship will begin on June 3rd 2024 and end on August 9th 2024. This is a paid program in which interns will work 30 to 40 hours per week.

ARC's Internal Audit Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure and a deep understanding of ARC’s business. During your ten weeks at ARC, you will gain valuable experience working on a mulitude of projects such as assessing the design of internal controls, procedures and other supporting activities, performing transactional testing to evaluate the operating effectiveness of departmental areas, conducting planning activities for audits, and leveraging our data analytics solutions to test certain areas more efficiently.
- Assist with planning audits and identifying the key areas of focus to develop test procedures around.
- Assist with conducting walkthroughs of specific processes from an end-to-end perspective or select internal controls points to evaluate the design effectiveness of the corresponding area(s).
- Assist with applying sampling methods to select populations of transactions or items for audit testing purposes.
- Assist with conducting detail testing of areas to evaluate the operating effectiveness of internal controls, procedures and/or supporting processes. Identifying potential audit issues that do not meet or align with expected standards, requirements or corporate policies or procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and ability to develop positive working relationships across ARC while at the same time maintaining a curious mind-set that allows for the appropriate level of testing to be conducted to identify internal controls gaps or process inefficiencies.
- Active student in good standing currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level program working towards a degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit
- International students who are authorized to be employed in the United States are eligible to apply
Some work experience is a plus; corporate environment also a plus
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Self-starter who shows initiative but does not hesitate to ask for direction or guidance when needed
Excellent people skills to work across the organization with different personnel
Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to work independently
