The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The Opportunity:
Qualifications
- Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Major Currently a junior, senior or grad student
- Knowledge of programming, AI and machine learning and Python Language
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Script, HTML, JAVA, C/C++
- Familiar with Data Structures & Algorithms, Different Sorting Techniques and quick Traversal paths
- Must be keen to program using software Bots and writing Automations scripts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Visio and Word
- Excellent written, verbal and listening skills Ability to document requirements and attention to details
- Ability to speak in front of teams that include both business and IT partners
Responsibilities
- As our Warehouse Automation Engineer Intern, you will apply theoretical learnings from your academic study and develop skills to support a future career in Automation Engineering
- You will be introduced to robotic process automation software & asked to develop Process Automation in areas such as Picking and Shipping from Warehouse Systems
- Working with the Engineering Lead to develop use cases & applications relating to Warehouse/DC Automation and create prototypes and technical solutions to increase throughput in areas such as picking & shiupping
- Developing user interface on Python, Angular, REACT and integrations on KAFKA/Web Methods
- Use of databases from Oracle, Postgres as backend to store & retrieve data
- Using RPA Software & Tools develop Data Streaming Techniques to stream data from Transaction systems into Data Platform/Data Ware House systems
- Develop Productivity Reports using BI Tools such as Looker or Azure Logic Apps
