What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking a Year-Round Clerical Undergraduate Intern to join our dynamic team! On any given day, you may be called on to: Assist with multiple administrative activities to ensure favorable customer relations and successful project/program completion. Perform secretarial and clerical work for the organization's manager and staff Complete filing, copying, spreadsheet and database maintenance, and web page updates Assist with the coordination of meetings, visits and workshop Plan and execute property inventories and aspects of property management Answer customer questions in person and through property-related email entity accounts As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will be represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), which requires monthly membership dues or agency fees.

Qualifications We Require You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements: Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5/4.0 Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer U.S. citizenship As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will be represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), which requires monthly membership dues or agency fees. New hires into an OPEIU represented position will remain in the initial position for twelve (12) months before being eligible to be considered for other Sandia employment.

About Our Team The Resilient Energy Systems Intern Institute (RESII) is an innovative program focused on providing undergrad and graduate students with exciting and challenging opportunities to progress their science and engineering foundation and provide an introduction to the energy resilience research field.

Security Clearance Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
