Position Title: Intern, Production and Operation
Compensation: $16.78/hr
FLSA: Non-Exempt/ Part Time
Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)

Position Overview: CJ ENM America is seeking interns to join the Events & Experiences team in LA, offering a valuable opportunity to learn about the convention Production and Operation process. This paid part-time internship provides hands-on experience with responsibilities including collaborating with the Events & Experiences team, executing operational tasks, supporting hospitality, safety measures, and event logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Execute operational tasks essential to the preparation of upcoming events, such as managing hospitality, catering, staffing, security, and safety measures.
- Assist with implementing safety protocols, crowd control measures, and overseeing ingress/egress flow as outlined by the Events & Experiences team.
- Contribute to overall production tasks for upcoming events, overseeing lighting, audio visual, electricity, signages, displays, and wooden fabrication, and more.
- Support event logistics, including maintaining detailed excel reports, including Google sheets, and handling invoices.
- Assist in the execution of onsite Production and Operational tasks leading up to and during the event.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as required.
Experience & Skills:
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google, Dropbox, Adobe, etc.).
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and pay attention to small details
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize daily agendas.
- Ability to prioritize and operate in high stress and high volume situations.
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset, and highly motivated.
- Strong knowledge, interest, and passion in K-pop and Korean entertainment is highly preferred.
- Prior Entertainment (concert/convention/music/film/agency) experience is highly preferred.
- Prior Production & Operation (internship/clubs/volunteer) experience is highly preferred.
- Fluency in Korean is not a requirement, but a plus.
