JOB SUMMARY: The Intern, Finance will provide support on a variety of projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in second line risk management effective challenge and operating model with finance
• Assist Finance with special projects including, but not limited to, interest rate risk management, liquidity, and capital
• Assist Finance with peer and industry analysis on key financial risk and profitability metrics
• Participate in meetings
• Identify areas of improvement within the department and/or team
• Communicate effectively and interact with manager
• Shadow multiple employees and train in a variety of tasks
• Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
• Complete additional projects on an ad hoc basis to support the team
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a master's degree
• Prior work experience in financial services, investments, banking, or other related fields
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• High proficiency with Excel modeling and other Microsoft Office products
• Acute attention to detail with the ability to think critically and independently
• Exceptional attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interest or experience with banking or financial institutions strongly preferred
