Hamilton Lane, a global investment leader in the private markets sector, is seeking students in their junior year to join our Emerging Talent Internship Program.
The program kicks off in June 2024 with classroom-based and on the job training. Interns can expect to develop professional skills, form mentoring relationships, participate in job shadowing as well as be coached by some of the industry's best leaders on the Data Integrity Team.
Successful candidates are interested in gaining knowledge within the industry, have demonstrated excellence in their studies, activities, and previous internships or work experience. They are also intellectually curious, analytical, problem solvers, thrive in a team-based environment, and are exceptional communicators.
Program Overview:
- Attend classroom-based training to broaden industry knowledge and develop professional skills
- Attend cohort and networking events
- Develop mentoring relationships
- Working with a cohort of other interns, collaborate on and present a capstone project to an internal Hamilton Lane panel
- Data Entry
- Review of daily data controls
- Data reconciliation
- Coordinate with third party data providers
- Maintain a key focus on process management and quality control
If you are interested in applying to the Emerging Talent Program, the requirements are:
- Academic achievement: 3.0 or higher overall GPA required.
- Majors: We are interested in applicants who have demonstrated excellence in their chosen majors, have strong analytical talent, and are keenly interested in finance, fund accounting, investments, or private markets. We will consider all majors for our program; however, the following majors are preferred: Business, Finance, International Business, Accounting, Economics, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics.
In addition, we are interested in candidates who have demonstrated:
- On-Campus Leadership and involvement
- Success in Professional Level Internships and or Research Projects
