Salary Range: $47,300 - $55,000 annually

What you will do:

• Monitor fund and appropriation balances for SIF, Line of Duty, and Tort Victims' Compensation Fund
• Compile financial data received from DCI to calculate the prior year's premium base
• Oversee the generation of the Second Injury Fund Surcharge (SIF) quarterly assessments and collection of the surcharge receivables
• Reconcile surcharge deposits in DWC's system to the state accounting system
• Evaluate escalated premium audit findings, discoveries of non-compliance, or other discrepancies
• Oversee the bi-weekly generation of SIF Benefit payments and the maintenance of payable accounts in DWC's benefit system
• Review and approve all new SIF Benefit resolutions prior to the generation of payment
• Authorize the warrants for new and ongoing SIF Benefit payments on behalf of the Division Director
• Approve all DWC daily deposits in the state accounting system with final approval authority
• Approve and sign all overpayment collections letters under $5,000, including referrals to the AGO
• Review and approve benefit payments for Line of Duty and Tort Victims' Compensation Fund in the state accounting system
• Reconcile all DWC benefit payments made from the state accounting system to our internal ledgers
• Assist the BAU manager with the preparation of financial and statistical data for the budget process
• Participate in the annual actuarial review of the SIF and the annual state audit process
• Serve as a backup when the BAU Manager is absent

All you need for success:
Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience
