Interior Design Assistant

Twin Cities leading architectural design/build firm has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Design Assistant. As a Design Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the design team in various tasks related to the build timeline. You will collaborate closely with designers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of high-quality design assets. This role requires a combination of creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist designers in creating and refining design concepts, layouts, and mockups.
• Collecting & distributing specific selection details from client meetings
• Preparing final sign off documents for production
• Assist in the preparation and organization of design files & documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and suppliers in a professional and organized fashion.
• Help maintain brand consistency across various design projects.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 Years of Design Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite- including Outlook & Excel.
• AutoCad & SketchUp experience/knowledge a plus
• Strong understanding of design principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Creativity and a passion for design & architecture

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to work Full-Time

2. Ability to lift up to 50lbs

3. Clean driving record, driver’s license, and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
