Qualifications:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting screenings and assessments; providing therapeutic counseling, consultation services and education related to substance abuse disorders.

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:
Basic Requirements for Psychologist (0180): Successfully completion of a degree with a major or equivalent in psychology for all specializations.
AND
Successful completion of 2 full academic years of graduate study directly related to professional work in counseling psychology, or successful completion all the requirements for a master's degree directly related to counseling psychology in an accredited educational institution.
Basic Requirements for Social worker (0185):
Successful completion of a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. AND successful completion of a master's degree in social work with practicum.
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
