Intensivist (Physician)

They are seeking a patient-centered and empathetic Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join their Critical Care practice in their ICU.

Position Details:

• Full-time, independent contractor position (15 shifts per month)
• 7 on 7 off rotational schedule
• 6 bed ICU
• Average patient census in ICU: 2-5
• Open ICU
• Physically rounds in the ICU and then take call from home.
• Team: 1 physician per 24 hours coverage, support staff (RN's, Nursing Assistants, RT, Case Management, Office Staff)
• In house 24 hours Hospitalist are the primary on the patient and do all ICU admissions
• Potential medical directorship
• Potential Outpatient pulmonary practice with additional compensation and collection bonus

  
  Compensation Details:

• $2400 per 24-hour shift
• Medical malpractice with Tail is covered by the group.
• Sign on bonus: $10,000 If you commit to 15 shift or more for the first year.
• $2,000 annual CME allowance

  Education/Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified Required: Pulmonary and Critical Care
• Experience: Opened to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians
• Licensure: California Medical License
• Certifications: Must maintain BLS/ACLS
