Form of workAbout the Position: This is a Military Intelligence Civilian Excepted Career Program (MICECP) position. If selected, initial assignment will be to this position and the duties described and, in accordance with MICECP procedures, will be subject to involuntary reassignment into any MICECP GG-132-14 position worldwide based on program needs. Generally, these rotations occur every 3-5 years. The selectee is also subject to deployment in support of U.S. contingency operations.Qualifications: Who May Apply:

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13), and is defined as: conducting and overseeing HUMINT collection operations at various levels; providing direct HUMINT support and intelligence oversight; developing HUMINT strategies, plans, or policies; and coordinating HUMINT activities with theater and national-level agencies.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
