Integrated Master Scheduler (Scrum Master with Kanban Expertise)

CACI is seeking an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler (Scrum Master) with Strong Kanban expertise to lead a USN FMS Project Training Team for an international partner focused on multiple levels of product/requirements. The Agile Team Lead will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the Training Team to track, realign, and complete complex individual, team, and unit level training requirements during a compressed and changing delivery schedule using Agile and Kanban principles to maximize productivity. Supports a U.S.-based team to provide complex training programs to an international partner.
What You'll Get to Do:
• Serve as an Agile Team Lead and Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, facilitating the Agile ceremonies (daily/weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.)
• Coach and mentor, the team on Agile principles, Kanban practices, and continuous improvement
• Utilize Microsoft Project to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and training team to establish and maintain a prioritized product/requirements backlog.
• Facilitate the team's adoption of Kanban practices, including the use of Kanban boards, work-in-progress (WIP) limits, Flow Performance Metrics, and flow visualization techniques.
• Monitor the team's workflow and identify areas for improvement, such as bottlenecks or process inefficiencies, and propose solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
• Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and self-organization within the team.
• Encourage and enforce the use of Agile metrics and tools to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and empowering work environment by promoting effective communication, resolving conflicts, and removing any impediments that hinder the team's progress.
• Collaborate with other Agile Team Leads and Agile coaches across the organization to share best practices and continuously improve the Agile adoption at a company level.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Must have US Citizenship
• Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance.
• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years project/Agile management experience
• Microsoft Project experience required in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Minimum of three years' experience as a Scrum Master with Kanban experience
• Use of continuous integration tools and techniques in test-driven development
• Certified Kanban Management Professional (KMP), ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or equivalent Agile certifications and/or significant Scrum Team experience.
• Proven experience working as an Agile Team Lead in Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Kanban methodologies, resource management, and tools, Boards, and projects
• Experience in coaching and training teams on Agile and Kanban practices
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Kanbanize, Trello, Azure DevOps)
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Passion for Agile methodologies and a drive to champion Agile principles within the organization.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team, environment supporting an international effort.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Experience in a similar role in Training Service Organization
• Experience in planning complex projects and dependency management
• Familiarity with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps)
