We are seeking an LPN to join our team as an Intake Nurse in Colorado Springs! You will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, assessment, physical examination, and recording/reviewing donor test results.
Responsibilities:
- Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and administer finger stick, and first aid as needed.
- Entering donor information into donor information system, as well as investigating post donation information.
- Managing, evaluating, and reporting donor reaction(s).
- Communicate with collaborating supervisors and specialist’s regarding donor care.
- Maintaining accurate donor medical records.
- Provides support and education to donors around their medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
- Ability to build rapport with donors.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate as a team player.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have unencumbered CO license, and BLS certification.
