Position: Intake Group Facilitator | Footprints to Recovery, Centennial CO | Part-Time 20/hrs a week Friday-Monday or Sunday-Monday and Thursday-Friday
The part time Group Facilitator/Intake Coordinator provides group facilitation and assists with completion of intakes for new admissions, 20 hours/week.
Duties:
- Facilitates group counseling in accordance with the established clinical program to include PHP/IOP Levels of care with one evening / week IOP Group.
- Establishes and maintains knowledge regarding documentation with the electronic medical records system: KIPU, Completes documentation in a timely manner
- Assists with completion of intakes for new admissions, ie. Biopsychosocial Evaluations, Suicide Assessment, Initial Treatment Plan, and admission ASAM.
- Collects and prepares data as requested by the clinical director
- Maintains and obtains all appropriate credentials regarding substance abuse counseling and mental health licensure
- Collaborates with psychiatric nurse practitioner, licensed practical nurse, and medical assistant to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Preferred Masters Degree Student or pre-licensed MSW
- Experience/Expertise with SUD, Mental Health, Eating Disorders, Trauma, or specialization in AcuDetox or Experiential Therapy
- Licensed Preferred: LCSW, LPC, LMFT
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Healthcare related major with experience and working toward licensure
- Maintain information as highly confidential
- Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology
- Skills in teaching or assisting with activities of daily living
- Prior experience with therapeutic limit-setting and milieu management
