Overall Descriptions of the Position:
Intake Assistants at The Gori Law Firm are responsible for preparing all intake materials and distributing packets to new clients. They also perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the flow and function of the Intake Department.
Skills & Abilities
- Beginner to Competent knowledge and demonstrated skill set in:
- MS Office Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Organizing, mailing, and processing information
- Shipping and receiving
- Self-motivated and well-organized
- Punctual and predictable attendance
- Job duties must be regularly performed in the office
- Prior experience or knowledge in the following preferred:
- Administrative or clerical duties
- Mail or shipping services
- Office organization
Position Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Sort, scan, save, and distribute mailed materials for the Intake Department
- Prepare letters, new client packets, binders and brochures
- Compose a variety of letters and correspondence to potential clients
- Update client information in client management system
- Organize information and create client folders
- Manage mailing materials through entities such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx
- Track, update, and follow up on missing or delayed items
- Order and manage office supplies for the Intake Department
Education, Certificates and Licenses:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
