We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team. As an Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating insurance applications to determine coverage and premiums. You will play a critical role in managing risk and ensuring profitability for our organization.

```Duties```

- Review insurance applications and assess risks

- Analyze applicant's financial status, credit history, and other relevant information

- Utilize quantitative analysis and financial concepts to evaluate risk

- Conduct equity research to assess investment opportunities

- Evaluate mortgage servicing and data collection processes

- Apply technical accounting knowledge to assess financial statements

- Consider tax implications when underwriting policies

- Implement fraud prevention and detection measures

- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions

- Communicate underwriting decisions to agents, brokers, and policyholders

```Qualifications``

- Proven experience as an Insurance Underwriter or similar role

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform risk analysis

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and guidelines

- Familiarity with underwriting software systems

- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to various stakeholders

- Strong decision-making skills based on sound judgment

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
