Responsibilities
Client Consultation:
- Engage with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate life insurance products and coverage.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to assess client needs and advise on suitable life insurance solutions.
Lead Generation:
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads through various channels such as referrals, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and service.
- Proactively reach out to existing clients to review their coverage and recommend additional products or modifications based on their changing needs.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and underwriting guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and expand product knowledge.
Requirements
Licensing:
- Active life insurance license in Minnesota or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Experience:
- Prior experience in life Insurance Sales or related field is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to effectively explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
Results-driven:
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Technology Proficiency:
- Comfortable using technology platforms and tools for sales, client management, and communication.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems is a plus.
