Insurance Processor

Robert Half is searching for an Insurance Processor to work onsite for one of our clients in West Des Moines, IA. You might be excited about this essential Insurance Processor role if you love organization, order, and data entry. This Insurance Processor role, will be processing documents, completing data entry and adjusting and creating PDF documents among other tasks.

Insurance Processor primary responsibilities:

• Independently conduct initial review of transfer paperwork
• Handle correspondence and other documents, including matching documents to appropriate accounts, verifying output for accuracy, emailing and e-faxing to other agents or companies
• Detailed documentation of policy files in administrative systems
• Communicate with agents and carriers regarding statuses of work
• Adjust and create PDF documents to be sent out to clients

• 2+ years of related document processing, data entry or insurance experience
• Solid understanding of data processing
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/PDF
• Word and Excel experience is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
