Insurance Inspector

Coastal Claims Services, based in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking an Insurance Inspector to cover Tampa and the west coast of Florida.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector to join our team.

Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties for Public Adjusting Firm.

- Document the condition of various components of the property, noting any defects, damage, or areas of concern.

- Take photographs and maintain detailed records for inclusion in inspection reports.

- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the inspection process and findings.

- Answer client questions and address concerns regarding the property.

- Maintain high professionalism and integrity during interactions with clients, other insurance professionals, and contractors.

- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and home construction and technology advancements.

- Pursue ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

- Manage time efficiently to meet inspection deadlines.

-A background in construction, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.

-Previous experience in field investigations, home inspection or a related field is often preferred.

-Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential issues.

- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Excellent customer service skills to address client inquiries and concerns.

- Valid Driver's License & Clean driving record

- Valid auto insurance

- Reliable transportation

- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule
