Who We’re Looking for in an IFF Specialist
We’re looking for someone who can positively interact with our customers as well as other employees. As an Insurance Finding and Filing Specialist, we expect you to process utility property and damage claims in accordance with CMR's established guidelines and procedures. The Insurance Finding Specialist I is responsible for locating and reporting insurance information via claims analysis and interactions with damagers.
On a Typical Day as an IFF Specialist, You'll
- Utilize company systems to cross reference insurance information on repeat damagers.
- Analyze work activity to determine identity of General Contractors.
- Request Certificates of Insurance from General Contractors and other damagers.
- Enter/update insurance information into company systems.
- Forward acquired documents to scanning department.
- Determine appropriate claim codes to update company systems.
- Assist manager and team members as requested.
Tiered Support Bonus System
Here at CMR, we understand that our individual employees contribute to reaching our company goals! The following bonus structure is based on total fees generated across CMR during the month. If CMR reaches its revenue goals, bonuses are paid per pay period on the paycheck following the period in which it is earned.
This is additional money earned for doing your job!
- Level 1 = $90
- Level 2 = $130
- Level 3 = $175

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word

- Ability to effectively communicate with damagers, insurance company representatives and other employees in a professional and courteous manner

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of customer service
- 1 year plus of insurance experience is preferred, but not mandatory
