We are seeking a skilled and committed Insurance Coordinator to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. At Huntsville Oral Surgery and Dental Implants, our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.
The ideal candidate for the Insurance Coordinator position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care. This new team member will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and calculating patient financial responsibility for our practice within set guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient's questions concerning billing and payments
- Processing patient insurance payments
- Submit claims to insurance companies
- Research and examine all claims
- Process outstanding claims reports
- Work denied claims and submit corrected claims
- Post EFT, check payments, and credit card payments
- Process insurance payments
- Answering phone calls promptly
- Excellent communication skills
- Must enjoy interacting with patients
- Focused on details and the ability to stay organized
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ideally 1+ years of customer focused experience
- 1+ years of experience of in insurance verification is highly desired
- Experience working in an Oral Surgery practice is preferred
