Insurance And Patient Engagement Team Member

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our insurance team with benefits and authorizations. As an employee of Northwoods Therapy, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the operations of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The position also includes phone and fax intake, patient scheduling and communication, sitting and standing, in a very busy out patient physical therapy office with 23 therapists.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Utilize medical terminology knowledge to assist with administrative tasks
- Assist with various tasks related to medical office operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly

Skills:
- Strong phone etiquette skills to provide professional customer service over the phone
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Proficient in data entry to ensure accurate and timely record keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology to support administrative tasks in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical office operations is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.52 - $22.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
