In addition, is responsible for the design and implementation of data-driven strategies that support Risk Management’s vision to drive and create industry leading processes through the optimization of data and technology. Capitalizing on a strong accounting and analytical background to understand historical financial data, forecast future results, and drive process improvements.
This role reports to the Associate Director, Global Risk Management & Insurance and interacts with all levels of Finance, Operations and Business Segments in a collaborative team environment.

Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
During the first year, this role will be focused on implementation of GEHC’s new Risk Management Information System (RMIS). After implementation, the role will continue to support daily RMIS operations but with increased responsibilities in supporting Key Operations and Insurance programs.
Origami RMIS System Implementation & Data Management
Responsible for support activities and communication related to the RMIS. The role will be the subject matter expert and key point of contact for all systems users, both internal and external
Support system implementation and ongoing development. Identify issues, define the requirements, suggest workable solutions. Manage system configuration and validation, including the loading and validation of integrated and external data sources
Ability to map legacy data in Excel into the format necessary for upload into the RMIS platform (Excel to RMIS transfer)
Maintenance of all physical records i.e., Insurance Policies and Related Records: Work with our insurance brokers to ensure we have a process to record documentation receipt
Quality control of data to ensure the information is accurate and reasonable
Troubleshoot system issues, addressing technical and business needs and concerns
Responsible for user setup and maintenance and both initial and ongoing user training
Create standard operating procedures and training videos. Develop and maintain materials for internal and external use
Lead the department in shifting all insurance underwriting data requirements into automated processes. Identify opportunities to automate and increase operational efficiency. Propose solution options, and implement solutions
Ownership of the global property statement of values and COPE (Construction, Occupancy, Protection, Exposure) data. Collaborate with various teams i.e., Global Real Estate, Facilities, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure accurate asset values. Create a process for updates within RMIS platform
Creation, standardization, and distribution of reports and dashboards. Automate recurring reports and live dashboards for key metrics across the organization
Partner with stakeholders across departments and functions in assessing analytical and reporting requirements; understand dependencies and competing priorities and ensure opportunities meet objectives
Financial Planning and Analysis
Create processes and provide financial support for the Corporate Insurance program expenses including the planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics of total spend while engaging with the financial components of strategic planning process with Controllers Group and Financial Planning & Analysis
Assist in the review and analysis of annual renewal results compared to market expectations and to the budget; perform timely variance analysis reporting, and other ad hoc analysis; document premiums and analyze variances from the previous year
Create dashboards and report results to management with supporting analysis
Coordinate with the Controller's department during the monthly, quarterly, and annual review and close processes, assist with monthly close activities
Key Operations, Metrics, and Insurance Programs
Serve as the department Subject Matter Expert for measuring and supervising the progress, adoption, and health analysts of the department’s risk management program
Ability to identify the tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to determine and assess issues. Propose approaches to the metric definition and end to end implementation of processes based on industry best practices
Provide recommendations and lead discussions with leadership to understand business gaps to provide analytical solutions and implementation plans that include a systemic component to reduce time spent on data mining or validating the integrity of data
Provide reporting on key operational and strategic dashboard metrics across all areas of risk
Support the development of GE HealthCare’s risk management and treasury strategies, including proposing policies and control documentation
Build relationships with key business partners to provide solutions that will drive strategy and organizational vision to Global Risk Management & Insurance
Support Associate Director on Management Lines of Insurance. Support strategy, identifying potential loss exposures, insurance negotiations from compiling exposure data and preparing submissions through final placement. Requirements include support document verification and ongoing maintenance support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data and Technology, Insurance Risk Management or related field required and 6+ years experience; in lieu of education requirement, 10+ years of experience Finance, Technical, Insurance Risk Management or related field
Desired Characteristics
Experience with RMIS and systems implementation, development, or business analytics work
Familiar with data warehouse concepts, structures, and platforms
Able to speak to database tables and data structures with stakeholders
Preferred experience within a global organization
Ability to travel 5% of time
