JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Instrumentation Engineer for our Houston, TX - Park Row office. Local candidates are preferred, no relocation will be provided.
Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future is required
This graduate will play a secondary role in producing instrument and control engineering deliverables while supporting the instrument engineering lead in meeting project objectives. This would be done by participating in the production of an Instrument Index, instrument selection and sizing calculations, instrument datasheets, requisitions and bid tabulations while providing process control and safety system input to P&ID's.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The instrument engineer will provide input into the process control and safety systems while reviewing P&ID's.
- This will lead to specifying and procuring the correct type of instrumentation that is required for the specific service.
- We maintain the project Instrument Index which dictates the size and functionality of the facilities process control and safety systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred degree in either Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
