- Role Overview:
As an Instrument Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our corn processing facility. Your expertise will ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are functioning optimally, supporting the facility’s goals of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with process control instruments to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Work closely with the operations team to understand process requirements and recommend improvements to control systems and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing facility performance.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in instrumentation, industrial technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician, preferably in a processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation technologies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, and other control systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
