S3 Inc. is seeking an Instructor Pilot to support KBFS projects in Crestview, FL.
Description: KBFS Crestview supports the U.S. Department of Defense in various training venues and through our air advisor operations training. The C208 Mission Instructor Pilot will be part of our IP team.
Responsibilities:
• Delivers academic instruction in a classroom environment with or without interpreter support and prepares daily discussions, plans, charts and other supporting documentation.
• Conducts pre-mission preparations to include performance planning, TOLD, weather/NOTAMs review, risk assessment, contingency planning and pre-flight inspection.
• Instructs domestic and international students in all aspects of basic aircraft qualification/instrument flight and mission areas, as required, to include airland, airdrop and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).
• Maintains basic aircraft, IFR and Night Vision Goggle (as required) in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Receives evaluations from AETC/A3Q Standardization pilots as required and maintains Class II medical certification.
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in military aviation and at least 1000 flight hours in turbine aircraft.
• Military U-28 or PC-12, Cessna 208, King Air, T-6 or equivalent experience and have performed duties as a former Instructor Pilot within the past 10 years.
• Cessna 208 Evaluator Pilot (EP) experience is highly desirable.
• NVG qualification in MDS and courseware development experience is preferred. Training is normally conducted from Monday-Friday, but weather cancellations may alter that schedule.
• Familiar with Video Downlink (VDL), Tactical Communications and Static & Dynamic ISR.
• Served as an evaluator pilot for a military flight experience and familiar with strike operations.
